2020 was a game changing year across the globe and we wanted to take a moment to highlight a couple of fun and game changing events at the Port of Halifax over the year, like the year kick-off celebrity cameo by Boaty Mcboatface himself!
From the arrival of new vessels as part of the National Shipbuilding Procurement Strategy (NSPS) to the much-publicized Canadian record setting Call of the CMA-CGM T. Jefferson as largest containerized cargo vessel to call at a Canadian port. Events rolled-on with the expansion of Pier 42 and the publicity generating arrival of the new larger than life cranes aboard the Zhen Hua 29.
We’re looking forward to what 2021 brings to shore.
